James Ballantyne is the Principal of the Ballantyne Law Group. Following his admission as a Solicitor in 2002 James has worked in key roles at some of Queensland’s leading commercial and property law firms. Based on the Gold Coast for the past decade, James has developed a strong practice in commercial and property law with a strong focus on small to medium enterprise.
Admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia, James is able to provide practical, pragmatic and effective legal advice in plain English.
Kathy Rundle is an Associate with Ballantyne Law Group. Kathy is originally from Melbourne, where she was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2004. Kathy has worked in large and small law firms and in the Supreme Court of Victoria, with a focus on commercial law, estates and litigation.
Kathy has been living on the Gold Coast for five years and has two children. Kathy has a love for sport, in particular Athletics and the Western Bulldogs in the AFL.

Enid Van Jaarsveld
Enid is an administrative assistant currently studying a bachelor’s degree in Laws and Business at Griffith University. She has been offered a position into Honours College, the Golden Key Society and has achieved great academic success by being one of the twenty highest achieving students in the Bachelor of Laws program. Enid recently completed an internship with the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games and is currently interning with UniSport Australia. Enid enjoys spending time outdoors and being active.
